Differences between Standard Clear Cedar Kits and Knotty Economy Kits:
- Knotty vs Clear Cedar: We still only use Western Red cedar, but the cedar has knots (spots). See Knotty Cedar here
- Wall Lining is Vertical. (Clear Sauna Kits are generally lined Horizontally).
- Cedar is seamed behind the bench and around the sauna. A cedar trim is supplied to conceal the seam
- Bench material is Clear 1 x 4 cedar instead of 2 x 4. To ensure strength, we add extra bench floor supports. Note: 1 x 4 benches are actually standard for most sauna companies.
- Door glass is single pane 5mm. Glass is a natural insulator and 5mm is sufficient to minimize heat loss.
- Ceiling lining may be seamed.

Tylö Combi Heater
The Tylö Combi™ is quite
simply the most sophisticated sauna heater on the market. It is a sauna heater with a built in steam generator
- the only heater that lets you enjoy traditional saunas
and steam or herbal saunas (Tylarium™) in one and
the same room. Choose a traditional sauna
at 68-90°C (155-194°F) in a relative humidity of 5-35%, or a steam
sauna at 45-65°C (110-150°F) in 40-65% humidity. The Combi has an electronic control panel integrated into the front of the heater’s front buffer rail. |
