We have had direct experience with low end, low cost infrared saunas. That is why we no longer carry them. There are serious quality issues and there is a real difficulty in obtaining parts when something breaks down. We found that every order had “new and improved” components. The problem was that the old components were no longer available and newer parts were not inter-changeable. A good deal for a sauna is no deal at all, if it doesn’t work and you can’t get it fixed.
Our Modular Infrared saunas are built under strict supervision by a factory that produces almost exclusively for Tylo. Furthermore, random saunas are unpackaged and examined to ensure the highest standards are maintained.

Who Are You Buying From?
At least twice a month, we receive a call from someone looking for a part for an infrared sauna they purchased from a vendor that no longer exists. And unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done.
Infrared saunas appeal to those looking to make a quick buck. They just buy a container or two, throw up a web site and start flogging them at ultra low prices. There is no expectation of long term business, just fast money. It is amazing how many of these websites have no contact information. Many do not even list a business address. They have an email address and a toll free (no local) phone number.

What’s in a Name?
When buying a sauna it is important to deal with a name you trust. Tylo has been manufacturing saunas for 60 years. Headquartered in Halmstad, Sweden, they have a world-wide network of dealers. Every two years Tylo holds a conference to which dealers attend (at their own expense). September 2010 marked Tylo’s 60th year with a conference in Sweden. That conference was attended by 85 dealers representing most of the world’s market. Some of those dealers have been with Tylo for nearly 50 years. It is a testament to Tylo that they engender such loyalty and enthusiasm from their dealers.
