There are no codes or regulations specifically dealing with wood burning sauna heaters.

As such, all sauna heaters are by definition categorized as “Uncertified Stoves”.  There are guidelines for installing uncertified stoves and we recommend you follow these.

Before installing the heater you should check with local municipal officials and your insurance company to see if they have any guidelines they want adhered to.
