Infrared
Saunas
Saunafin offers infrared saunas, infrared emitters and sauna material kits of the highest quality. Infrared heat primarily warms only objects in its direct path and has a lesser effect on temperature of the surrounding air. Infrared saunas warm your body in the same way as the sun, but without any of the dangerous effects of solar radiation. Infrared rays do not contain ultraviolet rays that can cause sunburn.

There are two different types of element types found in infrared saunas: carbon and ceramic. Organic carbon emitters have a large surface area, even heating and full body coverage which reduces the number of hot or cold spots in the sauna. Ceramic emitters work well for those who are constructing their own sauna, as they offer more flexibility in placement. The type of emitter you choose will depend on the type of sauna you are looking for and your personal preferences.
Many customers are curious about the health benefits of using a sauna. The heat of an infrared sauna can help relieve stress - heat therapy loosens muscles and relaxes the body. Heat also reduces body pain by increasing circulation. Saunas can also increase your rate of perspiration, which reduces excess moisture, salt, toxins and subcutaneous fat. The heat during a 10-20 minute infrared sauna session increases your heart rate increases by 50-75%. This provides the same metabolic result as physical exercise!
