Sauna Heaters and Steam Generators are generally in stock and should leave in 2-3 business days. Sauna Material Kits are usually packed and ready for shipping in 4-6 business days. Pre-Fab saunas take on average 4 weeks.
Sauna Heaters and Steam Generators are usually shipped by UPS or Purolator. Sauna Material Kits and Pre-Fab saunas are shipped via transport truck. (We mostly use UPS Freight and Old Dominion to USA, Western Canada and Maritime-Ontario for Canada). We do not use brokers or agencies. We prefer dealing with large shippers that have local depots and are less likely to pass off freight to third party carriers. (A little more costly, but more reliable-You can't put a price on "peace of mind")
Material Kits are packed into boxes and placed on a pallet. The boxes are shrink wrapped and strapped to the pallet to ensure they remain properly secured during transit. Most Pre-Fab saunas are crated. (To open crate your will require a #2 Robertson screwdriver bit). Delivery is curbside, meaning truck drops off at the end of your driveway. The trucking company will call before the shipment is delivered. This is to ensure that someone is home and there is somebody available to assist the driver in unloading the sauna. Where possible we arrange liftgate delivery. Liftgate deliveries are limited to shipments under 92". Where liftgate unavailable, you need to unload boxes or crate components from the truck. The driver is not required to assist. We recommend you have two able bodied people present to receive shipment.
Transit is of course largely dependent on distance. Generally 4-8 business days. A tracking number can be obtained so the goods can be tracked on their journey to your home or job site.
Heaters & Steam Generators are usually in stock, and can be picked up anytime. Material kits for pick up are not boxed and can usually be picked up on 2-3 day's notice. Local delivery is available within about 200 km of the GTA.
VISIBLE OR HIDDEN DAMAGE
A picture of the packaged sauna kit is sent to you after order has been shipped. Occasionally, the pallet or boxes may appear banged up (dented, crushed, punctured) or not packaged as it left our factory (as shown in picture). Any visible damage goods must be noted on the delivery receipt and signed by the delivery driver.
It is possible box contents were damaged without damage being visible. In this case, when signing receipt for delivery, please write: "possible hidden damage" and ask driver to make note of it.
NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY IS SHIPMENT ARRIVES DAMAGED
Open all received boxes and inspect products for concealed damage within 5 business days of delivery. There is a limited period of time for us to make a damage claim with the carrier. If there are any damages and we have to send replacement material, we will only do ONE shipment. Please make sure you look over all the material and list the items required.
In most cases, where damage occurs it is minor and only affects a "few" pieces. In such cases, we ask that to accept the goods (and note damage or possible hidden damage). We will then ship the replacement parts and deal with our shipper regarding the damage claim.
All returns require a Return of Goods Authorization (RGA). No returns will be accepted without an RGA. To receive a credit or replacement unit, we must first have a chance to receive and inspect item.
Returns will be accepted within 30 business days of delivery. Shipping charges on returns shall be the responsibility of the customer and all returned items must be returned in an “as new" saleable” condition, in undamaged original packaging, and with all original product manuals. After the product is received, inspected and verified to be in “like new” condition, a full refund will be provided on the product purchase price minus any original shipping charges. A re-stocking charge of up to 20% may apply. For products sold which included “Free Shipping", the actual freight cost to originally ship the product will be deducted from your refund.
Sometimes, in order to facilitate getting you "up and running" quickly, we charge to send an immediate replacement. And then we issue a credit once we have received the returned item and confirmed it is a valid warranty claim.
