We love our Saunafin Sauna. Buying a sauna is intimidating for a first timer. Mike was very helpful configuring the layout to work in our space and understanding the fundamentals. The end product looks great and we are enjoying it immensely.

My wife and I purchased and installed a sauna from this business in our house in 2010. We've been using it approximately once a week since then. Recently one of the two elements of the heater (SaunaCraft) burnt, but Saunafin team stood behind their life-time warranty on this heater and replaced the burnt element. In addition, they proactively replaced the second one, which, considering its age, was a potential burn as well.
Frankly, that is what prompted me to write a quick well deserved review.
Other than that, we had no issues with the sauna and really enjoyed it all this time. Our choice was a pre-fabricated kit, which proved to be relatively easy to install for a handy guy. The quality of materials is very good, the cuts precise, and they offer a few well thought through designs for a number of floor plans, plus, I believe, they can do a custom cut if needed. They also provided very useful installation instructions, e.g. regarding the placing of the heater and vents. An avid experienced sauna user cannot underestimate the importance of correct heating/ventilation setup, and being such, we have been enjoying our sauna for 13 years already.

Purchasing a sauna is tricky: It's probably a once-in-a-lifetime purchase, so there's no chance to try out a variety of sources before buying. My husband and I needed a custom size and we had to rely on contractors to figure out the details of installing a sauna "kit" in our house. There didn't seem to be much question that SaunaFin had the best reputation for sauna kits, so we ordered.
Turned out that SaunaFin is very thorough in their transactions and support. Every detail is documented. The most important details are made very clear with bold and highlights. Photos are taken of the kit so we knew exactly what to expect upon delivery.
And when the inevitable questions arose, someone always answered the phone and/or returned our emails. I think we had 4-5 follow-up questions, including needing to replace the switch cover after we chipped it, and SaunaFin always courteously answered our queries. We were even able to get our contractor and our electrician on live calls with SaunaFin to walk through details.
Their customer service was reassuring, especially for such a large and complicated product, ordered from Canada, shipped to the U.S.
We've been using our custom sauna for about 2 weeks, and we love it. I highly recommend SaunaFin if you're considering a sauna purchase.

Who would not love this barrel sauna? Immediately upon entering, the smell of the cedar begins to calm as the senses are further evoked by the glorious view out through the 7-foot panoramic window. The installation was quick and seamless. It is easy to care for and requires little maintenance. The sauna benefits us daily with its deep soothing heat therapy and invigorating add-ons. We also purchased the dump bucket and water bucket with ladle to further enhance the experience. They are sturdy and well-constructed. The Saunafin team provided friendly and professional service without any issues.

Kit was complete, very little wastage, excellent quality cedar, great instructions. Turned out beautifully! Great support when needed.
